Here's to Music!

How many children’s books can you say are enjoyed by young and old alike? This is one such book. I’ve read this book many times to a 2yr old, a 4 yr old and a 12 yr old all of whom enjoyed it for different reasons. The sing song language, the silly faces, the introduction to musical notes and symbols.

Brittany Lee writes: ‘Learning to express yourself is such a wonderful thing. When you put it to the sound of music your emotions really sing.’ It’s a lovely summary of how important music is to us, how it’s all around us, and that it’s never too early to introduce music to a child. Added bonus? This book provides little lessons as it entertains.

This is the sort of book I could see a child wanting to have read as part of their stable of nightly books.
