Where does fact end and fiction begin? Are we alone on the planet? Does the Bible record visits from ET? What is our life purpose? This book explores some very heady subjects through the fictional tale of Louis Silvani, an architect in the Air Force, who discovers a secret cryogenic laboratory in a federal facility which houses extraterrestrials and is forever changed by his discovery.
Louis, now a civilian, launches a second career as a researcher and lecturer on ‘interterrestrials’. Determined to visit the places he lectures about, we follow Louis on a life altering road trip from Chicago to Mount Shasta and places in between with friends Mary-Ellen and Dorothy. Their trip is one of self discovery as well as spiritual exploration.
Readers will be familiar with many of the themes the author presents. I was impressed with the sensitivity with which he addressed the themes and my usual cringe reaction to anything with metaphysics or conspiracy theories was not triggered. In fact I found myself intrigued and impressed with the writing. I was really intrigued by the Bible revelations and many times questioned whether I was reading fact or fiction. I cannot wait for book two to be released.
If you enjoy Michael Crichton’s writing style, you’ll enjoy Mr. Vecchiet’s as well.
